Military Watch was founded in 2017 to provide reliable and insightful analysis into international security and defence industry developments worldwide. In an era of geopolitical tensions, and as coverage of military affairs has become increasingly partisan and politically influenced on all sides, we seek to provide our readers with unbiased coverage that is key to forming deeper understandings of the evolving security environment today. Amid unprecedented shifts in global balance of power and changes in the way war is fought, we believe provision of publicly accessible objective coverage of defence related events in their relevant regional or global contexts is essential.

Military Watch has no sources of external funding and no affiliation to any state, party, movement or political ideology. All articles written by external contributors are clearly marked accordingly. We have worked primarily from the United States, Britain, East Africa and South Korea, and hope to expand to more countries in future.
