At a forum last week at the University of Michigan and again on CBS’ “Face the Nation” program on Sunday, Delaware Senator Chris Coons called for the U.S. to escalate its proxy war in Ukraine and raised the issue of deploying U.S. troops to directly oppose the Russian military.
